- Saddles may come with serge wool pannels, which is a natural, breathable material and whilst it will absorb moisture and sweat it dries out very quickly allowing the flocking inside to retain its natural softness. It is soft and warm to the horse’s back and allows the horse greater freedom of movement through the back and shoulders.
- Many people see significant changes in their horses shape and movement in a very short period of time.
- Saddle Company Saddles come in 3 different leather types:
- Supersoft Buffalo: A top quality Buffalo hide in black or brown Genoa Range: Top quality black or brown leather. Verona Range: A combination of super soft leather hide covering the whole of the outer surface of the saddle and innovative high tech synthetic materials on the underside, which cannot be seen when the saddle is on the horse. This has the benefit of making our saddles lightweight and affordable.
- Problems that may occur due to an ill-fitting saddle:
- Muscle Stiffness
- Muscle Wastage
- Reluctance to lenghten stride & work through the back
- Problem working easily on the bit
- Horse showing signs of displeasure being tacked up
- Bucking & "cold-backed"
